WATERCOLOUR and bodycolour, "Mabel" inscribed on reverse of painting. SIGNED: G. BOUVIER. Gustave specialised in portraits and genre paintings exhibited through the Royal Academy and Suffolk Street Gallery, London. Exhibited 1866-1884. Gustave was the son of Jules and the brother Augustas, also respected artists. (See cutting on rear of painting for other G. Bouvier art work).
