Framed Etching signed by John Shirlow 1925. Limited Edition 8/60

John Alexander Thomas SHIRLOW (1869 - 1936) an etcher and art teacher. Born Sunbury, Victoria on 13-12-1869.He attended various state schools including Scotch College, Melbourne where he became art master. He joined the printers Haase Duffus & Co., and then Sands & McDougall.

In our ETCHING collection we have a signed Hans Heysen as a gift from Heysen to John Shirlow.
